WHEREAS, the Municipality of Princeton has a need to procure a 2027 Kenworth T480 replacement dump truck with snowplow and spreader; and

WHEREAS, these goods are available on Sourcewell National Cooperative ("Sourcewell") Contract #032824-KTC, which was awarded to Gabrielli Kenworth of NJ LLC ("Gabrielli"); and

WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2 b. (3), the Municipality of Princeton may make purchases through the use of a nationally-recognized and accepted cooperative purchasing agreement that has been developed utilizing a competitive bidding process within the State of New Jersey, or within any other state; and

WHEREAS, Gabrielli has provided a proposal for the desired goods in the amount of $282,499.00; and

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Princeton has documented the required due diligence to determine that the use of the cooperative purchasing agreement shall result in cost savings after all factors, including charges for service, material, and delivery, have been considered; and

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Princeton has reviewed the Sourcewell contract and determined that it meets New Jersey's "fair and open" standards; and

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Princeton has obtained statutory required forms and confirmed that Gabrielli complies with New Jersey requirements; and

WHEREAS, in accordance with guidance from the State of New Jersey, an advertisement notifying the public of the intent to award a contract was posted on princetonnj.gov on July 30, 2026; and

WHEREAS, the Temporary Certified Financial Officer has certified that the Municipality of Princeton has appropriated sufficient funds for these goods in account 04-215-26-023-075-319.
