Resolution of the Mayor and Council of Princeton Authorizing an Increase of $45,000.00 to the Professional Services Agreement with Clarke Caton Hintz for Affordable Housing Monitoring and Consulting Services for a New Not to Exceed Amount of $116,000.00

WHEREAS, by Resolution 25-36 adopted on January 13, 2025, Princeton Council authorized a professional services agreement with Clark Caton Hintz for Services for Affordable Housing for an Amount Not to Exceed $71,000.00 and a term from January 1, 2025, until December 31, 2025; and
WHEREAS, additional funds are needed for Clarke Caton Hintz to continue providing services for the remainder of the contract term; and
WHEREAS, Clarke Caton Hintz has provided a proposal for the remainder of the contract term in the amount of $45,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that sufficient funds are available for said services from 40-201-20-105-273.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of Princeton, County of Mercer, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The Mayor and Council, or their designee, hereby authorize the first amendment to the professional services agreement originally authorized by Resolution 25-36 on January 13, 2025, to increase the contract amount by $45,000.00 for a new not to exceed amount of $116,000.00.
2. All remaining provisions of the original agreement no otherwise amended by or inconsistent herewith shall remain in full force and effect.
3. This Resolution, when countersigned by Clarke Caton Hintz, shall serve as the first amendment to the original agreement between the parties.
4. Notice of this action shall be published in the official newspaper as required by law.
5. A copy of this resolution will be kept on file in the Office of the Clerk.
