WHEREAS, on April 13, 2026, the Qualified Purchasing Agent awarded a professional services agreement to Environmental Management Associates, Inc. ("EMA") for Phase II Assessment of 303 John Street for an amount not to exceed $50,160.00 and term of one year; and

WHEREAS , on April 15, 2026, the Qualified Purchasing Agent authorized an increase of $720.00 for additional sampling for a new not to exceed amount of $50,880.00; and

WHEREAS, additional sampling is needed to complete the assessment; and

WHEREAS, EMA has provided a proposal for the additional services in the amount of $8,245.00; and

WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that sufficient funds are available to pay for said services from 04-215-17-037-011-302.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Municipality of Princeton, County of Mercer, State of New Jersey, as follows:

1. The Mayor and Council, or their designee, hereby authorize the second amendment to the agreement originally authorized by the Qualified Purchasing Agent on April 13, 2026, and increased on April 15, 2026, to increase the not to exceed amount by $8,245.00 for a new not to exceed amount of $59,125.00.

2. All remaining provisions of the original agreement not otherwise amended by or inconsistent herewith shall remain in full force and effect.

3. This Resolution, when countersigned by Environmental Management Associates, Inc. shall serve as the second amendment to the original agreement between the parties.

4. A copy of this resolution will be kept on file in the Office of the Clerk.
