WHEREAS, Princeton has a need to renew the subscription for Crowdstrike Endpoint Detection and Response; and
WHEREAS, this equipment is available on the New Jersey Cooperative Purchasing Alliance ("NJCPA"), a New Jersey State Approved Cooperative Pricing System, on contract #BC-BID-24-38, Computer Equipment and Peripherals; and
WHEREAS, the NJCPA contract expires June 5, 2026, and was awarded to SHI International Corp. ("SHI"); and
WHEREAS, Princeton is a member of NJCPA; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2b.(3) (as amended by P.L. 2011, c. 139) and LFN 2012-10, a New Jersey municipality may purchase goods and services without public bidding under the Local Public Contracts Law through the use of a nationally-recognized and accepted cooperative purchasing contract that has been developed utilizing a competitive bidding or contracting process by another contracting unit within New Jersey; and
WHEREAS, SHI has provided a proposal for the desired equipment in the amount of $47,099.31; and
WHEREAS, the Certified Financial Officer has certified that Princeton has appropriated sufficient funds for these goods/services in account 01-201-20-125-23A.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
by the Mayor and Council of Princeton, County of Mercer, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The Mayor and Council, or their designee, are hereby authorized and directed to enter into an agreement with SHI International Corp., 300 Davidson Avenue, Somerset, New Jersey 08873, for the Crowdstrike Endpoint Detection and Response Subscription for a sum not to exceed $47,099.31 utilizing New Jersey Cooperative Purchasing Alliance Contract #BC-BID-24-38 without publ...
