WHEREAS, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-12 authorizes Princeton to purchase any goods or services without publicly advertising for bids under any contract for such goods and services entered into on behalf of the State of New Jersey, Department of the Treasury, Division of Purchase and Property (“Division”); and

WHEREAS, Princeton proposes to purchase flooring materials and installation services for a Flooring Project at 400 Witherspoon Street in the amount of $145,341.86 from Allstate Office Interiors utilizing Division contract number 23-FOOD-47764 for Carpet and Floor Covering, Supplies and Installation; and

WHEREAS, the Certified Financial Officer has certified that Princeton has appropriated sufficient funds for these goods and services in account 04-215-25-007-011-303.


NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Municipality of Princeton, County of Mercer, State of New Jersey, as follows:

1.
                     The Mayor and Council, or their designee, hereby authorizes the purchase of flooring materials and installation services in the amount of $145,341.86 from Allstate Office Interiors through New Jersey State Contract 23-FOOD-47764

2.
                     A copy of this Resolution and the contract will be kept on file in the Office of the Clerk.
