Resolution of the Mayor and Council of Princeton Authorizing Reimbursement of Qualified Private Communities for 2024 Services Pursuant to the New Jersey Municipal Services Act, N.J.S.A. 40:67-23.2 Et Seq.

WHEREAS, the New Jersey Municipal Services Act, N.J.S.A. 40:67-23.2 et seq. requires municipalities to provide certain services or reimbursement for those services to Qualified Private Communities as defined in the Act; and
WHEREAS, the Municipality of Princeton has chosen to provide some of said services directly and reimburse the Qualified Private Communities for other municipal services rather than provide services directly; and
WHEREAS, the Municipality of Princeton wishes to authorize the Mayor and Clerk of the Municipality of Princeton to execute Municipal Service Agreements with the Qualified Private Communities within the Municipality and authorize the annual reimbursement once said reimbursement has been audited and found correct by the Department of Infrastructure and Operations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Municipality of Princeton, County of Mercer, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The Mayor and Clerk of the Municipality of Princeton are hereby authorized and directed to execute annually the Municipal Service Agreements for Qualifying Private Communities located within the Municipality and authorized reimbursement for said communities once audited and found correct by the Department of Infrastructure and Operations. The Municipal Service Agreements authorized by this Resolution are on file with the Municipal Clerk and may be inspected during regular office hours.
