WHEREAS, by Resolution 2026-72 adopted on March 9, 2026, the Municipality of Princeton (“Princeton”) authorized a contract with National Auto Fleet Group for Two (2) New/Unused 2026 Toyota RAV4 Vehicles for $69,428.78 utilizing Sourcewell National Cooperative (“Sourcewell”) Contract #081325-NAF; and
WHEREAS, these vehicles were ordered in March 2026; and
WHEREAS, Princeton’s Supervising Mechanic received notice that National Auto Fleet Group would not fulfill Princeton’s order due to the limited manufacturing of these vehicles; and
WHEREAS, Princeton wishes to cancel the contract with National Auto Fleet Group.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED by the Council of the Municipality of Princeton, County of Mercer, State of New Jersey, that the Mayor and Council, or their designee, is hereby authorized and directed to cancel the contract with National Auto Fleet Group for Two (2) New/Unused 2026 Toyota RAV4 Vehicles for $69,428.78.
