WHEREAS, the State of New Jersey (New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP)) has awarded the Municipality of Princeton grant funds in the amount of Eleven Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($11,750.00) to support the Venison Donation Program as part of Princeton's ongoing Community Based Deer Management Program; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of Princeton wish to acknowledge and accept receipt of said grant funds from the State of New Jersey and enter into an agreement with the State for this purpose; and

WHEREAS, Princeton agrees to comply with all applicable Federal, State, and municipal laws, rules, and regulations in the performance of activities conducted pursuant to said agreement; and

WHEREAS, the governing body wishes to designate the Princeton Health Department, specifically Deputy Administrator, Health Officer, Jeffrey Grosser, as the municipal representative to execute the agreement and any related documents on behalf of the Municipality; and

WHEREAS, no local matching funds are required of the Municipality under this grant program; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Council of the Municipality of Princeton, County of Mercer, State of New Jersey, that:

1. The Mayor and Council hereby approve entering into an agreement with the State of New Jersey for the receipt of grant funds in the amount of $11,750.00 in support of the Venison Donation Program.

2. The Municipality of Princeton agrees to comply with all applicable Federal, State, and municipal laws, rules, and regulations in carrying out the terms of the agreement.

3. Deputy Administrator, Health Officer Jeffrey Grosser is hereby authorized to execute the agreement and any documents necessary to effectuate the purpose of this Resolution on behalf of the Municip...
