WHEREAS, by Resolution 25-273 adopted on August 11, 2025, Princeton Council authorized the award of a contract to A.N.A. Painting Corp for Painting at 400 Witherspoon Street for $169,397.72 utilizing Bergen County Cooperative Contract Purchasing System Bid Contract #25-40; and

 

WHEREAS, painting is required in additional areas; and

 

WHEREAS, on October 17, 2025, A.N.A. Painting Corp. provided an estimate for the additional services in the amount of $8,550.00, resulting in a new not to exceed contract total of $177,947.72 and an increase of 5%; and

 

WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the contract will remain unchanged; and

 

WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that sufficient funds are available in account 04-215-25-007-011-306.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of Princeton, County of Mercer, State of New Jersey, as follows:

 

1.                     The Mayor and Council hereby authorize Change Order #1 to the contract with A.N.A. Painting Corp. for Painting at 400 Witherspoon Street originally awarded by Resolution 25-273 on August 11, 2025, to increase the cost by $8,550.00 for a new not to exceed contract total of $177,947.72.

 

2.                     The governing body will cause to be printed a brief notice indicating the additional amount to be expended, the original contract price, the nature of the original and additional work, and why it is necessary to expend additional funds.

 

3.                     A copy of this Resolution and the Change Order Document shall be placed on file in the Office of the Clerk.
