Resolution of the Mayor and Council of Princeton Authorizing Rescue Response Protocol Policy Memorandum of Understanding Between Municipality of Princeton Office of Emergency Management, Fire Department and Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad

WHEREAS, the Chief of the Municipality of Princeton Fire Department (“PFD”) and the Director of the Office of Emergency Management have conferred with the Chief of Princeton First Aid and Rescue Squad (“PFARS”) in order to develop a Rescue Response Protocol Policy for emergency operations and response within the Municipality of Princeton; and
WHEREAS, PFD, OEM, and PFARS wish to memorialize the Rescue Response Policy in the form of a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”); and
WHEREAS, the parties have met and have recommended that the Mayor and Council authorize said MOU.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: by the Municipality of Princeton Council as follows:
1. The Municipality of Princeton Council and Clerk of the Municipality of Princeton hereby authorized and directed to enter into a MOU with PFD, OEM, and PFARS to establish for a Rescue Response Protocol Policy for emergency operations and response within the Municipality of Princeton. The MOU hereby authorized is on file in the Office of the Municipal Clerk and may be inspected during regular office hours
2. A certified true copy of this resolution shall be furnished by the Municipal Clerk to the Princeton Fire Department, the Office of Emergency Management, and Princeton First Aid and Rescue Squad.
