WHEREAS, in response to a duly advertised Notice to Bidders pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq. on June 13, 2025, the Municipality of Princeton received the following one (1) bid for Mini System #36 Sewer Rehabilitation Contract C (New Jersey Infrastructure Bank Project Number S340356-13):
National Water Main Cleaning Company, Kearny, New Jersey $2,089,926.00
WHEREAS, the Qualified Purchasing Agent and Sewer Engineer have reviewed the bids and determined that the proposal submitted by National Water Main Cleaning Company provides for the lowest responsible and responsive bid options and as approved by New Jersey Infrastructure Bank on August 18, 2025; and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended to award a contract to National Water Main Cleaning Company in the amount of $2,089,926.00; and
WHEREAS, the CFO certifies that Princeton has appropriated sufficient funds for these services in the following accounts:
04-215-23-017-089-301 $1,789,123.12
04-215-24-017-089-302 $ 107,721.00
04-215-24-017-089-303 $ 193,081.88.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Municipality of Princeton, County of Mercer, State of New Jersey, that the Mayor and Council are hereby authorized and directed to enter into an agreement with National Water Main Cleaning Company for Mini System #36 Sewer Rehabilitation Contract C for a sum not to exceed $2,089,926.00 in accordance with the terms and conditions with the Bid Documents which are on file in the Office of the Clerk.
